For ordinary managerial, accounting and administrative activities and limited to the data and purposes indicated in this statement, as well as in compliance with the specific security measures (art. 32 of EU Regulation 2016/679), the user’s personal data may be disclosed to third parties such as, by way of example and not limited to, associated companies or companies under common control, third party providers of commercial, professional and technical services, banking institutions, financial intermediaries, professionals, collaborators, consultants, service companies as well as other third parties in compliance with any legal obligations.

Place and purpose of data processing

Data processing connected with the web services of this site takes place at the headquarters of our internet service provider WP Engine and is carried out by employees/consultants of Decode.

The personal data provided by users who request services by e-mail or by filling in forms are used solely for the purpose of providing the service requested in relation to sending of information, sending of the Decode product catalog, sending of the newsletter, or requesting more information from a Decode employee. 

For the specific purposes of sending advertising and promotional communications, explicit consent will be requested from the user when filling out the form.

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the communication protocols of the Internet. 

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, the time of the request. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Data provided voluntarily by users

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this site involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, and any other personal data included in the message.

Methods of processing and storage

In relation to the indicated purposes, the processing of personal data is done through manual, computer and telematic tools with logic strictly related to the purposes and, however, in order to ensure the security and confidentiality of data in accordance with the law. These data will be kept for max 5 years.

Rights of the interested party

The interested party may contact the Privacy Service at the data controller to verify their data and have them supplemented, updated or corrected and/or to exercise the other rights provided for by art. 15 (Right of access of the interested party), 16 (Right of rectification), 17 (Right to be forgotten), 18 (Right to limit processing), 20 (Right to data portability) of the EU Regulation. The interested party may, however, apply to the competent Guarantor authority to enforce their rights.
